Sport Business Poland Congress: The most important sports and business event in Poland returns and opens to Europe
The next edition of the Congress organized by the Sport Business Poland Association will be held on November 21-22. As announced, the autumn event will get a European dimension. For the first time, participants will have the opportunity not only to gain knowledge from leading international experts but also to establish contacts and integrate with representatives of the environment from all over Europe.
Sport Business Poland is the only industry association operating in Poland, bringing together representatives of various sectors of the sports industry and sports business from all over the country. Within three years of its establishment, the organization has already held 10 world-class events, which gathered a total of over 5,000 participants. After the success of the last Congress in March, SBP will organize the 6th edition of the event in Warsaw, Poland. For the first time, the event will become international.
The format of the Congress remains unchanged. Participants can expect a division into 5 thematic blocks addressed to representatives of specific industry sectors: Sports Organizations, Sports Sponsors, Local Governments, Sports Venues and Centres and the Entertainment Industry.
On November 21-22, over 130 leading speakers are expected at the Hilton Warsaw City Hotel. The local experts will be joined by those from abroad who will present their perspectives on the development of the world of sports. The Association invited representatives of both the largest organizations and those slightly smaller ones that also stand out in the market. The event agenda was developed in such a way that each participant could find interesting and practical solutions adapted to the specific level of development or financial resources.
For 3 years we have been consistently striving for integration, education and promotion of Polish sport and business. Our events are perceived by the community as the most important industry events in the country, having a real impact on the directions of development, introducing key changes and implementing new trends. Taking the project to the European markets and presenting Poland as a host of international meetings is a natural step in the development of our organization. During the 6th SBP Congress, for the first time, we will provide the opportunity for integration and exchange of experiences between representatives of the environment from all over Europe. Our participants will have the opportunity to learn about different perspectives and problems faced by representatives of the European market, but also about their ways of dealing with challenges. We want our activities to create an international network of contacts, which will certainly have a positive impact on the entire industry. – says Łukasz Banaszak, Managing Director of the Sport Business Poland Association.
An important point of the program of the autumn edition of the Congress is also the results of the Sport Business Poland Leaders Contest. The competition aims to honour people who thanks to their charisma, knowledge and experience, have had a significant impact on the development of the sports industry and sports business in the last year. Anyone can nominate a candidate for the Competition, and the winners will be selected by the SBP management board based on the submitted applications. Last year, the title of SBP Leader was awarded to, among others, Olgierd Cieślik (President of the Management Board of Totalizator Sportowy), Rafał Brzoska (Creator and President of InPost), Marcin Animucki (President of Ekstraklasa S.A.) and Janusz Kozioł (Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of the Krakow City Hall). ‘The Leaders Contest 2022′ Full Winners’ List. >>
In addition to the value resulting from presentations and expert debates, each Sport Business Poland event also offers huge networking opportunities. Among the thousands of Congress participants, you can find representatives of companies sponsoring sports, leagues, associations, sports organizations and e-sports, as well as people managing facilities, sports centres and those responsible for the development of sports in local governments. To facilitate establishing contacts, the Organizers provide guests with a dedicated platform that allows them to arrange a meeting during the event. Additionally, as part of integration, after the end of the first day of the Congress, there will be an evening industry meeting allowing for the continuation of talks in a less official atmosphere.
