Jakub Kot is an attorney-at-law and a senior associate in the Energy & Infrastructure Department at CMS.

Jakub has nearly 10 years of professional experience in providing comprehensive legal services for projects implemented in the infrastructure sector (particularly those executed in the form of public procurement, public-private partnerships, concessions for construction works or services, and project finance).

Jakub provides services to general contractors, operators, technology suppliers, financial institutions, government entities, local government units, and municipal companies (including city sports clubs), specializing in the comprehensive support of infrastructure projects. This includes conducting due diligence studies, developing recommended organizational and legal structures for projects, carrying out procurement procedures, drafting and negotiating contracts, and assisting clients during the final stages of project implementation. Furthermore, Jakub has experience in financial closure processes of projects (including those involving non-refundable funding from the European Union) and in representing clients in appeal proceedings before the National Appeals Chamber.

He has repeatedly supported clients in pilot projects across nearly all major infrastructure sectors (including water and sewage, maritime, real estate, transportation, healthcare, energy, and waste management sectors).

In 2022 and 2023, he was recommended by Chambers & Partners as an “Associate to watch” in the Project & Infrastructure category.
